Danny Santana Swats Homer, Continues To Hit
6 years agoTexas Rangers infielder Danny Santana made the most of his start in Wednesday's 7-5 loss against the Pittsburgh Pirates, finishing 2-for-3 with a double, a solo home run, a walk and two RBI. Overall, he is slashing .355/.379/.613, and he has racked up multi-hit performances in three of his past four games. He already has six multi-hit games this season, too. He has been playing fairly regularly for manager Chris Woodward and if he continues to hit, the skipper will find a way to include him in the lineup. He isn't quite mixed league material yet, but fantasy owners in AL-only leagues and DFS play will want to keep riding the wave while he is running hot.
