6 years agoBaltimore Orioles relief pitcher Mychal Givens notched his second save of the season in Game 1's 5-4 win over the White Sox. Givens came into the game in the eighth inning to get the final out and pitched the ninth as well, allowing one hit and no walks with three strikeouts overall. He now leads the team in saves, but four other O's relievers have a save, so the bullpen-by-committee is in full effect. This fact, coupled with Givens' pedestrian numbers (4.05 ERA, 18 strikeouts in 13 1/3 innings pitched), severely limits his fantasy upside.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
