Jonathan Villar Tallies Four Hits Across Doubleheader
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles second baseman/shortstop Jonathan Villar had a solid day at the plate in both games of Wednesday's doubleheader against the White Sox, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a strikeout in Game 1 and 2-for-5 with two singles, a stolen base and two strikeouts in Game 2. The 27-year-old has been a serviceable fantasy option to this point and now has a .275/.333/.420 slash line with three home runs, 11 RBI and seven stolen bases in 145 plate appearances. He is worth starting as long as he continues to hit for a decent average.
