6 years agoBaltimore Orioles second/third baseman Hanser Alberto went 2-for-5 with two singles and a strikeout in Game 1's 5-4 win over the White Sox. The 26-year-old has had somewhat inconsistent playing time but has been receiving more starts lately, likely because he is hitting .329 in his 79 plate appearances. However, most of his hits have been singles (.382 slugging percentage) and he has walked just 2.5 percent of the time. He is worth keeping an eye on, but fantasy players should hold off on adding him until he shows that he can produce a more robust hitter profile.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
