6 years agoLos Angeles Angels second baseman Tommy La Stella was inserted into the leadoff spot by manager Brad Ausmus for Wednesday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. He finished 2-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored and an RBI in his second appearance atop Ausmus' starting nine before Luis Rengifo replaced him as a pinch runner late in the game. Despite the solid game and decent slash line (.263/.366/.538), La Stella is still only worth a look in deeper AL-only fantasy leagues if you're desperate for middle infielder assistance.--Daniel Dobish
