6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum made many big shots en route to a playoff career-high 41 points in the 140-137 quadruple-overtime win over the Nuggets on Friday. McCollum stepped things up with Damian Lillard having a bit of an off night as he drained 16 of 39 shots and added eight rebounds with four assists and four steals with a block in 60 minutes of action. McCollum bounced back after being relatively quiet in Games 1 and 2 to score 28 of his 41 points in the fourth quarter and the four overtimes. We can only assume his confidence is running high and he is worth a serious look for Game 4 on Sunday.--Gianni Costantiello
