6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard scored 28 points in the quadruple-overtime win on Friday over the Denver Nuggets in Game 3. Lillard connected on 10-for-24 shooting from the floor and added eight assists with six rebounds to go along with two steals while connecting on two makes from three. Lillard was struggling to connect from the floor with the Nuggets throwing double teams at the star in hopes to get the ball out of his hands. Lillard has cooled off since Game 1 when he had 39 points, but the Blazers are going to need all of Lillard in Game 4 in hopes of taking a 3-1 series lead.--Gianni Costantiello
