6 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder/designated hitter Khris Davis (hip) left Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates in the second inning after suffering a left hip contusion. He was hurt while pursuing a fly ball in the outfielder, banging into the wall. He said after the game that he is already feeling better. Davis said the hip stiffened up, and he felt he wouldn't be able to help the team so he departed. He said he feels like he'll be ready to go for Tuesday's game against the Cincinnati Reds. Fantasy owners should feel rather confident leaving him in the active lineup.--Daniel Dobish
