6 years agoThe New York Yankees will activate OF Clint Frazier (ankle) from the 10-day injured list on Monday. The team optioned relief pitcher Stephen Tarpley to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday to make room on the 25-man roster. Tarpley could use a little more seasoning in the minors, as he has an abysmal 10.38 ERA and 2.54 WHIP over 4 1/3 innings in six relief appearances with the Bronx Bombers. Mike Tauchman hit a homer on Sunday, but he is likely to be back to the bench with Frazier set to return to an everyday job.--Daniel Dobish
