Luis Severino Out Until At Least The All-Star Break
6 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino (shoulder), who is dealing with a strained latissimus muscle, will not be back "until after the All-Star break," general manager Brian Cashman said in a satellite radio interview on Sunday. He was diagnosed with a Grade 2 lat strain four weeks ago. It's a disappointment for fantasy owners, as he was drafted in the early rounds after his 19-8 record, 3.39 ERA and 1.14 WHIP with 220 strikeouts across 191 1/3 innings over 32 starts last season. Fantasy owners, be patient.
