Danny Salazar Shut Down For A Couple Of Days
6 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Danny Salazar (shoulder) suffered a setback in his rehab, according to manager Terry Francona. "It's probably been about a week now," Francona said. "He had a real good bullpen session and then the next couple days he didn't feel as good. So he went to see (a team doctor). So he's down a couple of days from throwing. Then they'll ramp him back up." Salazar hasn't pitched in a game of any kind since 2017, dealing with elbow and shoulder issues since. When healthy, he has the potential to be a solid fantasy option, but who knows how effective he'll be once he is finally able to return.
