6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Luke Weaver allowed one earned run, three hits and two walks with six strikeouts over seven innings in a no-decision on Thursday against the Atlanta Braves. He threw 64 of his 104 pitches for strikes in the quality start, and he hit a batter. Weaver also had first-pitch strikes to 16 of the 25 batters he faced, lowering his ERA from 3.29 to 2.98 as a result of his second consecutive quality start. His next scheduled start will be Tuesday against the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates.--Daniel Dobish
