Trey Mancini Cooling Off At The Plate In May
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman/outfielder Trey Mancini continued his May struggles in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Angels, going 1-for-5 with a single and a strikeout. Mancini's numbers on the season have been great (.322 batting average, seven home runs, 16 RBI) but he is hitting just .212 with two RBI in 33 at-bats in May. Fantasy owners should not panic, as hitters go through ups and downs over the course of the season, but he should not be started until he can get things going again.
