6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum shouldered most of the offensive load for his club throughout the game and made some big shots down the stretch to secure the series' win over the Nuggets. McCollum scored 37 points and added nine rebounds with an assist and a steal with a block. With Damian Lillard struggling, McCollum held his club afloat and he made some monster plays, including a chase-down block on Jamal Murray in waning moments to help guarantee the win. McCollum averaged just 18.0 points on 36.6% in four games this season against the Warriors, but they will need Sunday's version of McCollum if they plan on upsetting the defending champs.--Gianni Costantiello
