6 years agoGolden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry made the Trail Blazers pay on Tuesday when they regularly sagged off of ball screens and left the sniper wide open in the Game 1 win. Curry made nine of 15 from three and 12-for-23 overall from the floor and added a full line with seven assists and six rebounds to go along with a steal in the 22-point win. The Blazers will not be happy with this one and we can expect coach Stotts to make some serious adjustments on how they will defend the ball screen with Curry as the ball handler. Curry is more than holding down the fort with Kevin Durant (calf ) out and is the player to work your lineups around for Game 2.--Gianni Costantiello
