Damian Lillard Scores 23 Points After A Slow Start
6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard did not score his first points until there was 3:50 left in the second quarter but ended up finishing the night with 23 points in the Game 2 loss on Thursday. Lillard continued his excellent playmaking as he handed out 10 dimes with five boards and a steal while drilling five of 12 from three in this one. Lillard had a chance to tie the game on the last possession, but a clean strip by Andre Iguodala ended it. The Warriors are continuing to trap the All-Star on pick and rolls and it has proved to be successful in the first two games of this series.
