6 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels placed starting pitcher Matt Harvey (back) on the 10-day injured list this weekend due to an upper back strain and they recalled relief pitcher Taylor Cole from Triple-A Salt Lake to take his place on the roster. On Sunday he said he wasn't suffering from any injuries despite a decrease in velocity in his recent starts, but apparently that wasn't the truth. "I feel good, I feel healthy," Harvey said. "It's just the ball's not coming out right." However, he later admitted he didn't tell anyone about his back strain because he was being "stubborn." Harvey plans to resume throwing again Monday, but fantasy owners will want to steer far clear of him for now.--Daniel Dobish
