Joc Pederson Caps Off Series With 15th Home Run
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in the sixth inning, his 15th of the season, in Sunday's 11-7 road win against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Pederson was out of the starting lineup for Friday's series opener with LHP Steven Brault on the bump, but manager Dave Roberts still was able to get two hits out of him off the bench. That's three straight multi-hit games for Pederson, and at least one extra-base hit in four of his past five outings, as he is now slashing .252/.365/.629 with a .994 OPS while posting 15 homers and 29 RBI. He has killed right-handed starting pitching, and is a must-start in all fantasy formats.
