5 years agoArizona Diamondbacks third baseman Eduardo Escobar finished Sunday's 6-2 road win against the San Francisco Giants with three more hits across five at-bats. All three knocks were singles, and he added an RBI and a run scored. The switch-hitting hot corner man has now hit safely in five straight games, raising his average from .275 to .286 just since May 20 in a loss in San Diego. More importantly, he is working on a five-game streak with at least one RBI (eight total). He'll try and extend the streak in Monday's road game in Colorado opposite RHP Jon Gray. He has only two career at-bats vs. Gray, but he has a homer and two RBI.--Daniel Dobish
