5 years agoArizona Diamondbacks shortstop Nick Ahmed went 2-for-4 with a walk, a run scored and an RBI in Sunday's 6-2 road win against the San Francisco Giants. He also picked up his third stole base of the season. Ahmed is now slashing .270/.327/.413, hitting safely in four straight games and six of the past seven. He has raised his average 26 points just since May 18. He'll look to keep it going Monday afternoon against RHP Jon Gray at Coors Field in Denver against the Colorado Rockies.--Daniel Dobish
