5 years agoJTG Daugherty Racing driver Chris Buescher surprised at the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday, finishing sixth. He had a strong car all evening, and ended up with a last lap speed of 178.224 mph, the fourth-best lap speed of all drivers. The JTG team built a nice race car, and the big finish should serve as a nice springboard into Pocono next week, which just so happens to be the venue of Buescher's one and only MENCS victory on July 31, 2016.--Daniel Dobish
