J.P. Crawford Reaches Base Yet Again
5 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford went 1-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts in Monday's 6-2 victory against the Texas Rangers. While Monday's stat line wasn't terribly impressive, he has hit safely in 12 of his 16 games since his recall from Triple-A Tacoma, and he has reached base in 14 of those 16 outings. Crawford is worth a look in deeper AL-only fantasy leagues if you need some help at the middle infielder position. He should play fairly regularly until Dee Gordon (wrist) is ready to return from the 10-day injured list. That might be several more weeks still.
