5 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Marco Gonzales was tagged for eight runs - six earned - and eight hits with four strikeouts over just four innings in a loss Tuesday against the Texas Rangers. He slipped to 5-5 and his ERA ballooned from 3.41 to 3.96. It's been an ugly month of May, as he is 0-5 with a 5.86 ERA across 27 2/3 innings in six outings. He entered May with a 5-0 record and 2.80 ERA, but he leaves a .500 heading into June. Gonzales will look to get back on track in Sunday's series finale against the Los Angeles Angels.--Daniel Dobish
