5 years agoLos Angeles Angels infielder David Fletcher went 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and two RBI out of the nine hole in Tuesday's 6-4 road victory against the Oakland Athletics. Fletcher has hit safely in seven straight, going 13-for-27 (.481) with three doubles, a homer and five RBI to raise his average from .289 to .318 just since May 20. He has rolled up 11 multi-hit games over the past 21 games, too. He has carved out a nice role for himself on the Halos, and he has emerged as a must-start fantasy option in AL-only play and some of the deepest mixed leagues thanks to his solid average and occasional pop.--Daniel Dobish
