5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers first baseman/outfielder Cody Bellinger went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's 7-3 home loss against the New York Mets. The homer was his 20th of the season, and he is up to 51 RBI. That was about the only highlight of the night, as the Dodgers had atrocious bullpen work after Rich Hill departed. Bellinger is humming along, slashing an insane .382/.469/.770 with a 1.239 OPS across 191 at-bats while registering 33 extra-base hits, 33 walks and just 31 strikeouts. He is showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, he has homers in back-to-back games for the first time since April 12-13.--Daniel Dobish
