5 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Taylor Clarke allowed five earned runs, four hits and two walks over just two innings in a no-decision against the Colorado Rockies on Thursday. He threw just 32 of his 55 pitches for strikes while unleashing a wild pitch and also hitting a batter. It wasn't all bad, as he also hit his first-career home run off of Kyle Freeland in the second inning. Clarke entered with back-to-back quality starts at Tampa Bay and San Francisco, so he was probably due for a stinker. He'll look to rebound Tuesday night against the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers.--Daniel Dobish
