5 years agoBaltimore Orioles second/third baseman Hanser Alberto went 2-for-6 with two singles in Wednesday's 2-1 extra-innings loss to the Rangers. The 26-year-old has been a surprise contributor for the O's this season, posting a .303/.320/.388 slash line with three home runs, 14 RBI, and four stolen bases in 172 plate appearances. He hasn't walked much (2.3%) and hasn't hit for much power but has provided a solid average and some speed. At this point, Alberto could be used as a filler player in deeper leagues for teams with injuries or slumping players.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
