5 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Matt Strahm was tagged for six earned runs in 3 1/3 innings Thursday against the Colorado Rockies. Coors Field was not a favorable spot to return from an IL stint and Strahm did himself zero favors by allowing seven hits and four walks in the abbreviated outing. He fanned four on the night. Strahm has bookended his recent injury with 13 earned runs between two starts, bumping his ERA to 4.66 with a 1.27 WHIP and 8.5 K/9. He’ll look to right the ship next week in a challenging matchup against the Milwaukee Brewers. Strahm’s not an outright drop in fantasy leagues, but the recent deterioration is something to monitor.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
