5 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Hunter Renfroe enjoyed a monster weekend in Coors Field, collecting five homers and eight RBI against the Colorado Rockies. Renfroe was quiet for two games out of four but exploded for a three-homer night on Friday and capped off the weekend with two dingers on Sunday. The big series raises his slash to .256/.305/.647 on the season with 23 long balls and 76 runs-plus-RBI. It was recently reported that Renfroe was a popular trade piece and his stock is surely at peak value now. The 27-year-old slugger showed glimpses last season of transforming into a polished hitter but has seemingly put it all together in 2019.
