PJ Washington Gets Taken By Charlotte
5 years agoKentucky Wildcats power forward PJ Washington was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets with the 12th pick in the first round of the NBA Draft. Washington showed off multitude skills while at Kentucky averaging 15.2 points and 7.6 rebounds a contest while shooting 42.3 percent from three-point territory. The Hornets will likely use Washington as an off the bench big man next year as the Hornets currently have power forward Marvin Williams slotted as the starter. With Williams being 33 years old and only averaging ten points and five rebounds an outing last season the Hornets may look to give Washington more and more minutes as the season goes along especially if they struggle to score. In redraft leagues, Washington may be a player that fantasy owners may want to watch and people in dynasty leagues may look to Washington as a nice value play.
