Dante Pettis Holds Breakout Potential
5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Dante Pettis enters 2019 with considerable hype after a strong finish to last season. Although he missed a handful of games, Pettis tallied 27 grabs, 467 yards and five touchdowns in limited action. He did most of his damage between Weeks 12-15, nabbing 17 passes for 338 yards and four scores. As the team’s most polished route runner, Pettis should be a focal point of the passing attack behind tight end George Kittle. With quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (knee) returning and currently RotoBaller’s 34th-ranked receiver, Pettis possesses WR2 upside at a reasonable price tag.
