5 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Daniel Vogelbach launched a pair of solo home runs in the team’s 5-3 defeat over the Rangers Wednesday. He took Mike Minor deep both times, marking only the fourth time he’s gone yard off a southpaw out of his 25 homers on the season. It’s been a struggle for the 26-year-old to hit lefties this year as he came into this contest batting a measly .129 off them, but has feasted off against right-handers (.264). Vogelbach is hitting .233 on the season with 53 runs and 59 RBI proving to be valuable in all formats. His .361 OBP leads the M’s club, and he will continue to produce in the second half regardless if he continues to struggle versus left-handers.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
