5 years agoCincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert (ankle) participated in drills during the team’s second day of training camp on Sunday. Eifert, who broke his ankle during the Bengals’ Week 4 encounter with the Atlanta Falcons, signed a one-year deal this past offseason in what could be his final shot with the club. The 28-year-old has been hindered by injuries throughout his tenure in Cincy and has only appeared in 14 games over the past three seasons. However, he has the talent to be an elite tight end (as demonstrated by his 13 touchdowns during the 2015 campaign) and could have his number called in abundance this season by quarterback Andy Dalton, as long as he can remain healthy, especially with the lack of reliable options on the offensive side of the ball.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
