5 years agoOakland Raiders wide receiver J.J. Nelson has impressed the coaching staff so far at training camp with his dynamic speed. He made a couple plays downfield beating the coverage and even finding the end zone in one scenario, making his case for a starting job. It’s a bit of an uphill climb for Nelson with Tyrell Williams also serving as a deep threat and with Ryan Grant and Hunter Renfrow in the mix for a spot. Nelson has shown spectacular play-making abilities over his career with the Cardinals, but has never earned himself a full-time starting role. He’s coming off a disappointing 2018 campaign where he caught only seven balls for 64 yards and can be left off the fantasy radar until he carves out a role for himself.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
