Domingo Santana Slugs 20th Homer
5 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Domingo Santana launched his 20th homer of the year Sunday in the team’s 3-2 win over the Tigers. In his first game back from an ailing elbow, Santana showed no signs of rust going 2-for-4, upping his average to .273 on the season. The 26-year-old’s name has been thrown into trade discussions recently, but it’s hard to envision the M’s to send him packing at a prime age. Santana has bounced back tremendously after a disappointing 2018 campaign, and does have a 30-homer season under his belt so it’s no fluke he’s hitting well this season. Expect the results to continue down the stretch run.
