Antonio Brown Could Serve As Backup Punt Returner
5 years agoOakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown could find himself returning punts this season for the Silver and Black. He’s proven to be a dynamic punt returner throughout his years with the Steelers and will practice returning punts at training camp. Brown would only return kicks if the team was in a pinch or in a close game as they surely don’t want to add injury risk to the 31-year-old veteran. This potential role gives him a minimal fantasy boost in leagues that score punt returns, but managers shouldn’t change their stance on the seven-time Pro Bowler with this news. Brown remains a sure-fire WR1 despite a downgrade in offense.
