5 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Carlos Hyde is taking advantage of the absence of lead back Damien Williams (hamstring), who has missed the last week of camp. With Williams still being without a firm return date, head coach Andy Reid has expressed his frustration while also praising Hyde in the process, adding “Carlos has done a nice job.” The 28-year-old, who signed a one-year deal this past offseason, had an uneventful season in 2018, making stops in Cleveland and Jacksonville while rushing for just 571 yards and five touchdowns. Though we have a few weeks to go before Week 1, this is an encouraging sign that Hyde could have a resurgence in his new home in Kansas City.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
