5 years agoOakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr said in an interview that he’s “the best version of myself right now. Some of the best football I ever played was last year, and I feel like I’m just going up.” This comes after a few years of mounting criticism that he’s been a letdown at the position and unable to take the Raiders back to the playoffs. Carr has done his best to drown out the negativity, but with the many significant offensive acquisitions this offseason, it very well could be a make or break year for the 28-year-old. Carr could return to fantasy relevance this season as a QB2 or a weekly streamer, but managers shouldn’t feel the need to reach for him in drafts.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
