5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Jerick McKinnon is once again battling knee soreness. The 27-year-old suffered a season-ending ACL tear last September and was activated off the PUP list just a few days ago. He is slated to receive platelet rich plasma injections and is projected to miss the next two weeks. This is not good news for those who were counting on McKinnon to be a top-back this upcoming season and though it doesn’t rule him out, it is obviously a step in the wrong direction.
