5 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. went 1-for-3 in Friday's contest versus the Rockies, upping his average to .326 on the season. Deuces were wild for the rookie as he hit a double, walked twice, drove in two, and swiped a pair of bags in the club's 7-1 victory. Tatis Jr.'s spectacular debut campaign now has him sitting pretty with 22 homers, 60 runs, 53 RBI, and 16 stolen bases in 80 games for the Friars, making him one of the more valuable players to own down the stretch run.
