5 years agoOakland Raiders running back Deandre Washington led the rush attack in the first half in the team's preseason opener versus the Rams on Saturday. He scampered into the end zone for a seven-yard touchdown on the opening drive of the game, finishing the night with 24 yards on six rushes. Washington also added two catches for 21 yards on an evening with very few starting pieces in action for both sides. The 26-year-old won't receive much playing time this season, sitting fourth on the team's running back depth chart, and would be fortunate just to crack the Raiders roster.
