Curtis Samuel Hopes To Put Week 1 Behind Him
5 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver Curtis Samuel will look to put his subpar Week 1 performance behind him on Thursday night against the visiting Buccaneers. The 23-year-old had a weak fantasy performance against the Rams, finishing with just 32 yards on three receptions (four targets). Samuel was touted for his strong showing during training camp, and while he was labeled by many to be the team’s real No. 1 wideout, his poor performance on Sunday left many people disappointed. With rain in the forecast along with Christian McCaffrey virtually monopolizing the Panthers’ offense, Samuel is a borderline-start against Tampa in Week 2.
