5 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Peyton Barber will start in Week 2 against the Panthers; however, head coach Bruce Arians has reportedly been impressed with No. 2 option Ronald Jones II, making this backfield situation even more complicated. Nonetheless, Arians plans to utilize the “hot hand” of Jones, making it easy to assume that he will continue to be more involved than Barber despite being officially relegated to the backup role. Jones outperformed Barber in Week 1 against the 49ers, compiling five more touches while racking up 42 more yards. Barber does have an upside, but not as high as Jones’.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
