ANALYSIS: I learned something this past Sunday, and it is that bad teams are bad no matter who they face. It was the case in the Washington versus Miami game from Week 6, which some reasoned would be a slugfest just because both teams brought horrid squads to the game. That wasn't the case, and the game ended in a bland 17-16 final score. Good for the Dolphins, though, was that Devante Parker kept up his late production finishing the game with 11.8 points, his second 10-plus points performance in a row.

The quarterback position of the Dolphins doesn't make much sense for anyone, let alone for Parker and his fantasy outcomes. During the first two weeks of the season, Ryan Fitzpatrick started and Parker could only score 10.5 and 0.0 fantasy points but in the next two games with Josh Rosen starting he scored 8.6 and 17.0. Then came the bye, and against Washington (Rosen started but was ultimately benched), he had another moderately good day of 11.8 points. It's been a carousel all around the place.

Parker is the go-to guy in the Dolphins offense, having seen both the most snaps (274) among the team receivers. He has racked up 229 yards on 13 receptions to go with a couple of touchdowns already and barring an explosion from rookie Preston Williams he will remain as the no. 1 WR in the team. Parker is a solid option to add through waivers with a chance at putting on WR2 outcomes weekly with a slight uptick in usage and volume going forward. The game script will always benefit him (yes, Miami will keep trailing games forever) and although playing for a bad team we're still talking of the WR1 of an NFL franchise. Week 7 might not present the best time to play Parker (Buffalo has the fifth-best defense against WRs), but if you have the room to stash him then you should do it, as Miami will have a good streak of favorable matchups (below-average defenses against WRs) from Week 8 to Week 10.
