Jaren Jackson Jr.'s Big Line Not Enough In Friday's Loss
5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies power forward/center Jaren Jackson Jr. filled up the box score on Friday in the loss to the Bulls. Jackson Jr. recorded 23 points on 9-for-17 shooting from the floor while adding a make from three after going 0-for-6 in the season opener. JJJ added 11 rebounds with a steal and a block to go along with two assists in 32 minutes of action. The rebounds are nice after averaging just 4.7 a night last season and he looks to be stepping up in more a leadership role this season. He has the Nets on Sunday and we should expect another strong line from the second-year big in that one.
