5 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans point guard Lonzo Ball dropped his first double-double of the 2019-20 season during Saturday’s loss to the Houston Rockets. Without Jrue Holiday active to cut into Ball’s time handling the ball, he compiled 10 assists while not committing a turnover in 36 minutes. In addition to setting up his teammates, Ball shot 6-for-13 overall, knocking down four triples. Over the past two games, he has been aggressive from deep, combining to shoot 21 threes. Expect that number to continue to remain high when he suits up Monday against the Golden State Warriors in what should be a game featuring a breakneck pace.--Jesse Borek
