Julius Randle Collects Third Consecutive Double-Double
5 years agoNew York Knicks power forward/center Julius Randle parlayed his excellent stretch of play in 2018-19 into a new deal this offseason. Through his first three games in New York, Randle is looking like exactly what the franchise expected when it brought him aboard, even if he delivered a subdued performance during the defeat to the Boston Celtics. Randle shot 4-for-11 from the floor and turned the ball over five times, but he still finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds, delivering his third straight double-double to open the year. With the multitude of talent that the Knicks possess, Randle remains either the team’s top or secondary scoring option depending on whom he plays alongside, which makes him a tantalizing DFS option when the team squares off with the Bulls on Monday, who lack a defensive stopper at the power forward slot.
