5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert amassed 60 yards and a touchdown on nine carries in Week 8 against the Carolina Panthers. Mostert saw his snaps increase after Matt Breida (ankle) exited midway through the game and he was rewarded with a 41-yard garbage-time touchdown in the final minutes of the 51-13 blowout. With the severity of Breida’s injury unknown, Mostert could have a meaningful role in Week 9 on a short week.
