5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is fine with his role amidst the Niners undefeated start. Entering Week 9 against the Arizona Cardinals, the passing attack has become a tertiary thought to the team’s dominant defense and run game. Garoppolo hasn’t helped himself, committing nine turnovers in seven contests. Jimmy G should continue playing game manager in what could be a lopsided Thursday night showdown. Expect Garoppolo to feed chain-moving tight end George Kittle and have a couple scoring opportunities, but the team should keep leaning on the run-heaviest offense in football.
