5 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid was on track for another tremendous performance Wednesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves until he was shown the door. Embiid scored 19 points shooting seven for fourteen from the floor with five boards. With 6:42 left in the third quarter, Embiid and Karl-Anthony Towns got into a physical altercation and both were ejected from the contest. The 76ers will next face the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday. The NBA will likely make its decision on the fight Embiid had and he may not be available for the game due to suspension so fantasy players should be monitoring the situation.--Matt Sparkington - RotoBaller
